While summer is a time to mix it up and get out on adventures, when I’m at home I stick to a fairly regular routine to center and ground myself. I like to include practices that help calm and care for my body and mind so I can be fully present in whatever the day has to offer. From waking to working, here's what I've been doing these summer mornings to get mindful and stay grounded.
I find that the more time I spend in nature and in tune with the rhythms and cycles of the natural world, the easier it becomes to stay mindful and remain present from moment to moment. What better way embrace all that nature has to offer than by sleeping under the stars?
